The condition of your lawn will dictate how and when we start your treatment programme.
We will recommend the best options and treatment programmes to achieve the best results.
This may involve a renovation programme as an initial treatment or our standard treatment schedule.
Renovation may include scarification, aeration, top dressing, overseeding, fertilisation, weedkiller and moss control.
Our annual treatments will not be a one size fits all approach but tailored to your individual needs and your lawn will receive no more or less than it requires.
A typical annual programme would be as follows, although as already stated you may require more or often less depending on your lawn condition and most importantly soil type as this affects the nutrient holding capacity and plant uptake.
Treatment 1 – March – April – Spring weed, feed & moss controls (may include aeration/scarification)
Treatment 2 – May – June – Summer feed/weed control
Treatment 3 – July – September – Late summer feed/weed control
Treatment 4 – October – February – Winter feed/moss controls (may include aeration/scarification)
- Aeration
Removes small plugs or punches holes in your lawn to reduce compaction and thatch problems. It also improves drainage, air exchange and nutrient uptake by your lawn.
- Scarification
Removes moss and most importantly thatch from the lawn. Thatch is a fibrous layer on and just beneath the surface of the lawn which can prevent nutrients, air and water from reaching the roots of your turf.
The post scarification look of your lawn can be alarming, but it soon recovers and benefits greatly from this process.
- Moss Control
This is one of the most frequent complaints from lawn owners. We have to try to remove the reasons for the moss growth, which may be one or more of the following – poor drainage, shade, cutting too low or poor fertility. We have a programme of measures to combat moss throughout the year.
- Pest & Disease Control
We can treat any pest or disease problem in your lawn and offer free advice if you suspect a problem.
- Mowing

We use robust commercial very high pressure cleaners to totally rejuvenate the look of your hard surfaces and can also provide a re-sanding treatment for block paved areas, this requires re-visiting when the area has dried.
- General Tidy Ups
We can provide a general maintenance service for your garden and grounds to include pruning, leaf clearing etc. This service is especially handy in the autumn, winter season.
- Hedge Cutting
This can either be as a ‘one-off’ or as part of a maintenance programme with your lawn.
- Tree Clearance
We can remove trees from your property either by felling or cutting up of a fallen tree. This can be logged for your use, or removed from site.
